gjmodsenabling Evolution strives. For thousands of years, humans, homo sapien sapiens have been the King of Beasts on Earth. However, shortly after the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962, the public became aware of a new kind of species: homo sapien dominus - the Mutants. Mutants are born the same as any other human, usually with no discernable differences. However, come the age of puberty, their genetic mutation becomes pronounced. This grants them one or several abilities, some more extreme than others. It may alter their form. Unfortunately, these powers rarely present themselves in a form that can be controlled without careful honing. Governments everywhere quarreled over the issue of mutant rights. Were they still considered humans? Should there be a demand that they be registered? One thing was certain: mutants held within them the potential to be very dangerous. Whether or not they would excise their powers responsibly, there was still the possibility of them challenging the system upon which humanity had so carefully (and sometimes shakily) regulated. While politics rage, mutants themselves seek a way to survive within society. ( Mutation: it is the key to our evolution. It has enabled us to evolve from a single-celled organism into the dominant species on the planet. ) |

enabling  It came in the mail with the junk and the bills. An envelope, average and almost insignificant. Except there's something about it, isn't there? And you open it. Inside, there is a single card. On that card is a message. Perhaps that message is in the form of words, or perhaps it's a picture, even a drawing. At the bottom of that message is a time and a date, set for the future. Strange. So... will you go? If you do go, you'll find that something (and someone) is there. Did they send the card? Or is this the work of a mysterious third party? INSTRUCTIONS; 1.] Put name, canon, etc. in the title. 2.] DO NOT LEAVE YOUR COMMENT BLANK. BLANK COMMENTS WILL BE DELETED. Instead, make a card for your character. This is the card that your partner's character received in the mail. It can be a message from your character or a message from a mysterious third party. Your choice! 3.] The content of the card is up to you, but it must include a location and a time. A date is optional, as is including your character's name. Keep in mind that this card is the size of a postcard, so the content should fit it. 4.] The card leads to your character. Whoever tags you has gotten that card in the mail. It's up to you whether or not this comes as a surprise to them. 5.] You may make multiple cards. Be sure to include any preferences as to what kind of rp partner you would want to see this card. 6.] Tag cards that interest you. ( The dates not today or the day before, its the next.
