unstirred: (poisoning your fantasy)

nooo problem!

[ Oh, rest assured, Bond is well aware of the disdain desk jobs hold for he and his sort: Q has been more than helpful in informing him that he's nothing but a trigger-puller. Or maybe Q's just a little twat that's got an ego far too similar to Bond's to go without a quarrel. Peter reminds Bond of his Quartermaster, in a way. Everything just so, snappish toward jokes and jabs, something to prove... Fun, oh-so fun to prod.

And rest assured, Bond is so very accustomed to feeling negative feelings crop up in respect to him. People, especially other men, either look up to him, loathe him, have murderous intentions toward him, or secretly want to be him. Annoyance toward him is universal. He's not shaken by the conflict Peter is feeling. He's listening now, because this information is what he wants. Finally.

So, there's a traitor in their midsts. And unlike Silva, they're not just visiting. They're a cancer, poisoning the rest of the body.

In the darkness, James' pale eyes narrow sharply with keen interest. ]

You'd like me to suss out the Judas with discretion. That is a challenge. Not something I'm asked very often...

[ And usually, usually Bond is more interested in physical work. Because, truth be told, he rather hates people. Extracting information can be tedious, but this... is more like a hunt. It's been a while since he put his empath skills to real use outside of bars and high-stake poker games. 007 is interested. ]

I'm high enough in rank that I can speak to any and everyone without turning heads.

That's rather ingenious, actually.

[ Surprisingly enough, he means it. He's sort of surprised he means it, too. ]

So far, I'm rather liking the sound of this, Mr. Guillam. Is that the extent of it, find and capture? What else can you tell me? I suppose the best question would be how this information came to the attention of your source.

[ There is a hint of excitement in his voice, though the slight glint in his eyes can't be seen for the shade of the umbrella. He is the hound who has seen the master fetch the leash and knows the potential for a good walk is high. ]
